Product Overview:
The AAC Fiber Optic Transmitter board consists of 6 isolated fiber optic transmitters capable of transmission rates up to 250 kilobaud over a maximum 4 km distance. Since each channel is isolated, separate ground and power signals can be used to power the individual fiber optic transmitters, allowing isolated systems to use the same transmission board. The input signal goes through a DB25 connector to a high impedance CMOS device, which defines the input characteristics of the board. The DB25 connector is shown in Figure 1 and Table 1.
